Congratulations to all of the 2011 winners of 

The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards Contest 
for the North Central Louisiana Writing Region!  

We are excited to announce that one of our regional Scholastic writing winners has won on the national level.  Lylla Younes from Alexandria Senior High School will be recognized in New York for her personal essay entitled “Fruits of Time.”  She was awarded the gold medal in the American Voices category.  We are so excited that North-Central LA is now on the map for this contest!
